What were the payment terms in the Henderson contract?
The Henderson retainer (March 2024) specifies net-30 payment from the date of invoice, with a 1.5% monthly late fee on overdue balances. Clause 4.2 grants a 10-day cure period before services may be suspended.

Note: an August 2024 amendment extended this to net-45 for invoices above £10,000.

FAQ

Common questions

Is LexVault secure enough for confidential client files?

Yes. Every firm's data is completely isolated at the database level — no other firm can ever access your documents. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not access your documents for any purpose other than providing the Service, and your data is never used to train AI models.

Does LexVault comply with state bar ethics requirements?

LexVault is designed with ABA Model Rule 1.6 and applicable state equivalents in mind. We can provide information about our security architecture and data handling practices to support any required client disclosure or bar ethics review.

What file types does LexVault support?

PDF, DOCX, TXT, and EML are supported. You can upload directly through the browser, or forward emails with attachments to your firm's unique ingest email address and they will be automatically indexed.

Do you train AI models on my documents?

No. Your documents and queries are never used to train AI models — by LexVault or by our AI provider. This is contractually enforced under our DPA.

Is there a setup fee or long-term contract?

No setup fee, no long-term contract. Plans are billed monthly and you can cancel any time. Beta members get 3 months free — no credit card required.
